What is Hardcore IDS?
Hardcore IDS builds a secured GNU/Linux operating
system and intrusion detection system using Fedora Core 5 with Snort 2.6.1.3 and Aanval
2.3 as an optional front-end to monitor your network for attacks and
vulnerabilities. Hardcore IDS uses the Snort and Bleeding Edge Snort rules.
You can setup Hardcore IDS on one host or many. There are three install
types to choose from so you have the ability to roll out your IDS solution
how you see fit.
